Guatemala Mission Outreach

On Friday & Saturday, March 3 & 4, we will pack 200,000 meals that will be shipped to our friends in Guatemala.

It takes 500 volunteer shifts to make this happen! Sign up for a shift by yourself and meet new people, or register with your friends / family / ministry or other group and work a table together.

Thank you for helping us make a difference in this world, empowering us to bring Matthew 25:35 to life.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”

For the last 11 years our parishioners - with our Knights of Columbus -  and an organization called Cross Catholic Outreach - have traveled to Guatemala to help our adopted community of Cuilapa. Two groups of 15-20 parishioners traveled  to Cuilapa, one in 2022 and one in 2023, to finish the chapel, and assist in other projects in the community.

We go there as Disciples of Christ - we minister - we build - we comfort - we share our faith.

In many parts of Guatemala life is difficult and nothing is taken for granted, especially when it comes to clothing, shelter, and food. Which is why the missionary experience is profoundly enriching. It is not possible for all of us to make this trip to Guatemala,  but it is possible for us to share in real faith-filled missionary work here at home, and to help those in need.

Thank you in advance, as we as a parish, strive to make a difference in this world by making these life-changing, life-saving meals.
