Tom said, “ The game of golf brought Lynn and me together”. Before Tom met Lynn he was working for the AmericanGolf Corporation in Ohio. However, he was later transferred to their Southern California location where Lynn was working. The rest is history. After a year and a half of their first meeting they were married in 1998. It was also the year they became members of American Martyrs.

I grew up in a culture where faith was always the underpinnings of our daily lives. We lived where prayer was a daily experience in families; where there was always a sense of the sacred. In the midst of this we so often heard the expression “God’s holy will be done.” This seemed to be the answer to all of life’s difficult moments. However, this led to some serious misunderstandings of God in our lives. God so often was given the responsibility for some events that were the direct result of human behavior.
