United with One Heart

As Christians, we are all members of the one Body of Christ and we are all truly “united with one heart.” We all have experienced the power of prayer—especially when we pray together, as a community. We are strengthened by knowing that others are praying with us and for us.

United with One Heart is a ministry that brings us together as a “virtual” community to pray in new and different ways outside of our time at Mass or during other forms of traditional communal worship.

The ministry also will sponsor, throughout the year, evenings of prayer and reflection where we can come together as a community in Christ to pray. For example, during Advent 2009, the ministry sponsored “An Evening of Prayer & Reflection with Fr. Mike Kennedy,” and during Holy Week, the ministry sponsored an evening of prayer centered on “The Seven Last Words of Jesus from the Cross”.

We invite you to join the United with One Heart Ministry and, in so doing, to help others experience prayer in new and powerful ways.
