Bereavement Support Group

And Jesus Wept…
. . .May His Loving Arms Embrace You In Times Of Sadness

American Martyrs’ parish community desires to reach out to families who are grieving.
We wish to be supportive in as many ways as possible to help families re-establish themselves
in their new role as parents and children who have lost a loved one.
Grieving is a natural process each of us goes through after the death of a loved one.
While no one can take away the sadness, others can help by listening and caring. Sharing
feelings with others who have experienced the death of a loved one helps many people to heal.

American Martyrs Catholic Community offers a BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP which meets monthly throughout the year. Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one is invited to consider joining a group. Parish membership is not required.

Most people find that a group is most beneficial if started not sooner than three months after the death. However, this is an individual decision.

Please join us. All are welcome, even if you have not attended our prior bereavement support group meetings. Please RSVP to Deacon Chris and Yvonne Amantea or 310-613-7814.
