We offer all men of the parish the opportunity to foster community and fellowship with each other, and share their faith and life experiences in a supportive and confidential manner that encourages friendship. Events, activities, and outings are held where the men of the Parish may interact with each other, form bonds of friendship and fraternity, and generally foster community among Guild members.

Membership
The Fathers Guild is open to all men in the school or parish community. Activities are on a volunteer basis and there are no required meetings. There are approximately 180 Fathers Guild members.

Communication
We communicate thru e-mail. Tasks are sent out to the group and volunteers are prompt to respond. Please email us if you would like to be added to the distribution list. Examples of tasks Guild members have performed:
  • Parish Pancake Breakfast
  • Lenten Friday Dinner
  • Parish Fair and other cooking assignments
  • Monthly Food Drive
  • AMS 5K Volunteer work
  • Outdoor Mass and other special events volunteer work
Outings
The Fathers Guild organizes two golf outings per year at local Southern California courses. This strengthens the camaraderie among its members. Outings are not limited to members of the Guild. Members may invite friends or relatives to participate in Guild events.

History
The Fathers Guild was founded in 1987 to help the church community in any task that may require group interaction to complete.
In November 2005, the AMFG Technology Fund was created to assist in funding technology needs for American Martyrs School. The proceeds were raised in conjunction with the fall AMFG Golf Tournament and used to assist in replacing computers in the Lower School Computer Lab.
